A new campaign makes it easy for people moving home to give their excess or unwanted household goods to people in need.

Did you know that we usually throw out between 15-50kg of usable resources when we move house?

It’s important to declutter, and there’s rarely a better time than when you’re moving, but those resources might end up as landfill, and any value could be lost to someone that could really benefit.

Heart for the Homeless has created the ‘It’s Your Move’ project to liberate those goods lost in a move, minimise environmental impact and help Australians in real need.
