3 September 2013

It gives me great pleasure to advise that our Director, Tony Pietropiccolo, (pictured below) was appointed in today’s (11 June 2012) Queen’s Birthday Honours as a Member of the Order of Australia in the General Division (AM).

"Mr Anthony PIETROPICCOLO, WA, for service to the community as the director of Centrecare through the generation of programs supporting individuals and families, including affordable housing and the welfare of indigenous Australians and refugees."

Tony’s commitment and achievements in the community and social services sector in excess of 25 years have been extraordinary. In a sector full of passionate, committed individuals, Tony stands out not just for his remarkable role as Director of Centrecare, but for his relentless pursuit of social justice at the highest level for some of society’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals.

The Board and staff of Centrecare have great pleasure in congratulating Tony on years of outstanding and dedicated service and for his truly great contribution to the life and works of Centrecare.
