Stronger Together

Centrecare, in partnership with Wungening Aboriginal Corporation provides Stronger Together, Intensive Family Support Services, which is a targeted early intervention services. Stronger Together has the overarching outcome of children living in safe, stable and nurturing environments, supporting them to achieve good life outcomes and supporting families to keep children safely at home.

This service provides intensive, in-home support to families who are most at risk of child protection intervention or families who require support to reunify children back to their care. Stronger Together works holistically with families and the Department of Communities – Child Protection and Family Support, to reduce child protection concerns in the family home utilising a culturally appropriate, strength-based approach.

How do we assist you?

Alongside the Department of Communities – Child Protection and Family Support, Stronger Together can help families identify their safety goals and will provide holistic management of complex issues facing families including drug and alcohol abuse, family and domestic violence, child safety concerns, mental health issues along with future planning and goal setting.

Where do we work?

Stronger Together provides support to families living in the Joondalup, Mirrabooka, Midland, Perth, Armadale, Cannington and Southwest District boundaries of the Department of Communities – Child Protection and Family Support.

Referrals into the service can only be received via the Department of Communities. If you are family seeking support, please contact your closest Child Protection District Office here.
