Reconciliation Action Plan
Centrecare is pleased to present our Reconciliation Action Plan - "Innovate" 2021 - 2023.
Centrecare is committed to Reconciliation and to the continuing development of an organisational culture that acknowledges the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities – our First Nations people. It recognises and honours the Traditional Owners of this land. Centrecare acknowledges and appreciates the wealth of their ancient culture and all that it coveys to others through the sharing of language, the connection to country, the importance of family unity and the significance of spiritual understanding and practices.
Our
organisation is committed to working together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander families and their children. It is determined to provide culturally
safe, professional practice that results from the learning of historically
significant events, many of which still impact on First Nations people
today. Centrecare will continue to listen, create opportunities and
enhance choice. It will remain mindful of First Nations’ culture in all aspects
of its work and engagement with the broader community.
